So many times a dog is bought as a present. Whether it is Christmas, a birthday or whatever the occasion. The puppy looks cute in the window, and before you know it, the puppy is running rampant in your home. It pees everywhere, chews on all your shoes, and ends up causing more stress and frustration than originally planned.
What started out as a good idea, ends up with the innocent little puppy being rejected by the owners and given up to a rescue centre.
I don’t know how many rescue centers I have visited, but it is always the same old story. Either way you look at it, the dog is REJECTED!!! OK, I am a bloke, but I still get a tear in my eye each time!
I soon realized, that one of the main reasons this happens is because most people aren’t familiar with how to train a dog. They do their best, they use all the trinkets of advice they hear along the way from friends etc, but still end up with an out of control dog. If only they knew how to train their dog from the get go, perhaps they would now be enjoying a happy and well behaved dog.
It’s an Education Issue!
It stands to reason that the more you know about Dog Training, the better you will be at training your dog. Do you agree?
